A new route to the customer

The starting point

DIAMOND imported household products for kitchens, bathrooms and dining and distributed them to wholesalers in Egypt.

The assignment

Create the content and sales infrastructure to bring the product range directly to retail customers through marketplace channels.

CE4IT assembled imagery and written content from catalog scans, original photography, 3D work on selected products, and static or animated mockups. The product library became two sales channels

A visible sales surge in Black Friday 2015

The project recorded good sales across the marketplaces and a marked increase during Black Friday 2015. By the end of the engagement, the stock had been almost entirely sold.

Reflective materials and many small parts made conventional product photography difficult. A standalone part also could not explain its place in the final installation.

Over more than two years, technical drawings and 3D models turned parts into clear representations of finished systems. AutoCAD supported drawings and dimensions; SolidWorks supported precise component and assembly modelling; 3ds Max supported materials, lighting, animation and render output. Adobe tools supported image finishing and page and video production.
