A new route to the customer

The starting point

DIAMOND imported household products for kitchens, bathrooms and dining and distributed them to wholesalers in Egypt.

The assignment

Create the content and sales infrastructure to bring the product range directly to retail customers through marketplace channels.

More than 2,000 products, ready to present and sell

CE4IT assembled imagery and written content from catalog scans, original photography, 3D work on selected products, and static or animated mockups. Images and descriptions were organized for listings, stores and marketing.

The product library became two sales channels

CE4IT established and managed DIAMOND seller accounts on Jumia and Souq.com, prepared the listings and made the range available to retail customers.

From listing to completed order

The engagement included day-to-day commercial and fulfillment work across the entire retail cycle.

01 / Maintain

Create and update listings, prices, inventory and offers.

02 / Receive

Monitor orders and receive the requested items for preparation.

03 / Fulfill

Pack orders and arrange shipping.

04 / Follow through

Track shipments and orders through completion.

Marketing connected to stock and operations

CE4IT carried out online marketing to support sales on both marketplaces, using the product content library, seasonal offers and stock availability as part of the same operating cycle.

A visible sales surge in Black Friday 2015

The project recorded good sales across the marketplaces and a marked increase during Black Friday 2015. By the end of the engagement, the stock had been almost entirely sold.

Content, commerce and fulfillment in one operating flow.

DIAMOND shows how CE4IT developed a large product library and carried it through marketplace launch, daily selling, marketing and order completion.
The engagement ran through 2017. DIAMOND later stopped operating due to its own circumstances and difficulties importing from Turkey at that time.
